People Media in Teaching

On September 2, 2008, Teacher Tina Zamora was invited by Mommy Grace Dousel to speak at the UP Benitez Hall for a People Media in Teaching talk. It’s main thrust is on how to use people to express or sell ideas in teaching. Teacher Tina presented Parents as Classroom Resources, showing the importance of having parents involved in the classroom by being resource persons — a storyteller, a teacher assistant, or someone who can talk about their line of work. The talk was under EdTech 201 through the supervision of Professor Que. Another talk is slated on September 9 at 6:00 p.m.
