    • Move the reading program based on the current skills and needs of children.

    • Inspire other professionals through innovations in the current trends of Progressive Education.

     

    II. READING DEPARTMENT SERVICES

    A. DEVELOPMENTAL READING PROGRAM

    Nest Reading Program aims not only students who read but students who love to read. For the Developmental Reading Program, the following will be the emphasis:

    Cardinals to Grade 2

    Decoding
    Vocabulary
    Grades 3 to 6

    Advancing Word Attack Skills
    Teaching Higher Levels of Comprehension
    B. CONTENT READING PROGRAM

    This program will be emphasized from Grades 3 to 6. This refers to the reading done in content subjects such as Math, Science and Social Studies.

     

    C. READING INTERVENTION PROGRAM

    This program supports children who are having difficulty coping in class despite of the curricular intervention. This is an additional service to support students who do not advance as their peers. This service has corresponding fees separate from the tuition fee.
