• How to Prepare Green Eggs and Ham Omelette a la Preschool A (5 Easy Steps)

    During the third week of July, eggs were all over Nest for the little ones of  Preschool A! Dr. Seuss’  book “Green Eggs and Ham” served as a springboard for our various learning experiences for the entire week. By the end of the week, we concluded our Eggs Week by preparing Green Eggs and Ham Omelette inspired by the classic book.  We in the Preschool A class would love to share the easy recipe with you.

    Ingredients:

    Eggs

    Green Food Color

    Ham

    Salt

    Cooking Oil

    Materials Needed:

    Mixing bowl

    Wire whisk

    Knife

    Frying pan

    Procedure:

    Step 1: Crack the eggs in a bowl and whisk the eggs.

    Step 2: Pour a few drops of green food color on to the bowl of eggs. Add salt to taste.

    Step 3: Slice the ham. (Ask an adult to help in this procedure )

    Step 4: Heat cooking oil in a frying pan. Fry the sliced ham then pour in the eggs mixture.

    (For our safety, it was Ate Dona who cooked the green omelette in the pantry while we washed our hands and waited for the green omelette)

    Step 5: Here comes our favorite part: Taste and enjoy!
